VER 1.1 — draftdraft
§16 Not in 1.1
The following are recorded here so that their absence is a decision rather than an oversight. Each requires a new pixel_hash universe, a removal, or a narrowing, and therefore belongs to VER 2.0:
- Orientation-invariant
pixel_hash. Hashing the pre-orientation buffer plus the orientation value would make E1's caveat unnecessary. It is CPNP-2. - A pinned reference CMM. Would make ICC-managed
pixel_hashvalues cross-producer stable (E1, E12). It is CPNP-2. - Scaling versus clipping for >8-bit sources. E3 already rules for scaling; the ruling is a 1.0.1 correction, not a 1.1 addition, and is listed here only to record that 1.1 does not revisit it.
- Honouring
gAMA/cHRM/APP14/EXIFColorSpace. E9 pins these as not consumed. Consuming them changes Canonical Buffers. CPNP-2. - Renaming the
iptcavailability key toiptc-iim. §10.3. - **Removing
binaryfromdtype, orplatformfrom the conflict source enum.** Both are narrowings. - Removing
weights_sha256. It keeps its 1.0 reading forever (§4.2, E29); removing it is a 2.0 question and is not asked here. - **Multi-frame records, HDR tone-mapping with a pinned operator, vector-format rasterization, audio/video siblings.** 1.0 §13's reserved extension points, unchanged.
The seven accidentally-open objects are no longer on this list: they are closed in 1.1 (§15.2).
